The mission of Hooker Lake Management District was created to undertake projects relating to environmental lake protection, lake management, and other statutory responsibilities related to the lake. Our goal is to provide residents with education, opportunities to use and appreciate unique, natural resources within the district and to support and encourage the preservation of the natural beauty and peacefulness, safety, and to create equitable distribution of recreational activities.
The Hooker Lake Management District is promoting the Wisconsin Healthy Lakes Initiative. This is a program that provides grants to organizations such as ours that enable individuals to help protect our lake. We need at least 10 individuals to participate in order qualify for this grant.
