About Us

  •  The Hooker Lake Management District was formed in 1990 to monitor and maintain the lake and surrounding watershed. The District’s Board is composed of five members who reside within the district and who represent the district’s residents. Three members are elected by residents for a rotating three year term; one member is assigned by the county; one member is a member of the Village Board. All lake districts in the state of Wisconsin must follow the laws set forth in Chapter 33

Thank You To Greg Kruchko

As noted above the Hooker Lake management District was formed in 1990. One of the founding members of the District was Greg Kruchko. Greg has served on the Board for the last 34 years and has decided to retire from the board. Greg has a strong history of volunteering in the community serving as Boy Scout leader for many years as well as with other organizations. Greg served as Hooker Lake Board President and Treasurer for many years. He led the way with such projects as constructing the public pier and developing a Lake District management plan. Good luck to Greg as he will no doubt pursue other volunteer opportunities.
